Remodeling the Home of the Founders Parkway
The Founders Parkway is a favorite area in Las Vegas. It is located between Southwestern Las Vegas Boulevard (the Paris Las Vegas Boulevard) and the Las Vegas Strip. It's home of stunning scenery, but not just the Strip. Gorgeous landscaping can be found on the Parkway and includes a walkway with paved planks leading to Castle Rock.
One of the most interesting features of the Founders Parkway's pavement is the way it compares to similar works elsewhere that have been completed in Las Vegas. A stone bench is located at the entry point of the parkway, surrounded by two columns of stone. However, unlike other Las Vegas parksways, the rectangular form of the bench is more popular rather than the more traditional round shape. Concrete was used along the perimeter to create a range of intriguing patterns. Concrete patios are made up of six different types of concrete.
Two concrete pavers included in the design are concrete tabs. These concrete tabs have a similar design to the Las Vegas concrete patio. The concrete used in the design of the Castle Rock section of the pavement is colored to make it blend in with the surrounding landscape. The concrete's coloring is subtle enough that it doesn't interfere with the natural beauty of the area.
The three remaining concrete segments consist of large rock shapes. To make them stand out against concrete, each of the large rock shapes has been colored. The concrete that is used in this part of the project is colored red to distinguish it from the others of the concrete areas that are situated around the parkway. There are 11 colors in total for the concrete designs of the project. The Parkway feels like a completely different environment from the rest of development because the architects used a myriad of colors.
The replacement of concrete sidewalks and ramps at the ground with granite pavers was another significant improvement in the construction of CastleRock's section of the Las Vegas Strip. The unique color pattern of these pavers blends nicely into the surrounding area. In addition to offering a more appealing appearance, the granite makes it more comfortable to walk on and provides a more smooth feeling when it rains.
The Las Vegas Strip has a covered walkway, which is a variation in design. The walkway covered is intended to protect residents from getting stepped on by the exposed roots of the tree lined beach. The design allows rainwater that has collected in the ground to drain into the ocean, helping reduce erosion. Because the concrete that is used to make the walkway is in the ground, there is no need to have concrete sealant put on the concrete surface. Instead, the pavers are covered with a specific waterproof material which is slip-resistant and heat-resistant.
Castle Rock has a wonderful climate. The climate is semitropical with mild winters and warm summers. It is an ideal area to plant your plants since the soil is sandy. The plant species range from desert flowers to desert grasses, shrubs, and evergreens. Additionally, the Strip's southern exposure ensures that the area is cooler than other parts of the city.
The picnic area made of stone at East End of the Driveway offers residents a view of the Strip and an area for tranquility. You can unwind from the noise and hustle of the casino floor, by sitting on the stone bench. Its stone-inspired design makes it practical and stylish. You'll be amazed how the stones bring outside to life whenever you stroll along the deck's edge to eat lunch or to unwind under the stars on the Strip.
